Frequently Asked Questions
iPrevail International Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3), and Florida’s Division of Consumer Services lists its Solicitation of Contributions Registration Number as CH40103.
Where does my donation go?
One hundred percent of it goes to programs. None of it pays salaries or overhead. See Our Promise for exactly how that works.
Is iPrevail a registered nonprofit?
Yes. iPrevail holds a current FDR tax exempt certification, available on request from authorized vendors, and Florida Solicitation of Contributions Registration Number CH40103. A copy of the official registration and financial information is available from the Division of Consumer Services by calling 1-800-435-7352 within the state. Registration does not imply state endorsement.
How many people are behind iPrevail?
Since 2013, a community of more than 1,400 members has grown around iPrevail, and people volunteer from it when they can. None of them, including the co-founders, draw a salary.
What programs does iPrevail run?
- Friends of Foster Homes, supporting group homes across Central Florida
- Hungry Saturday, a monthly meal for homeless neighbors at the Samaritan Resource Center in Orlando
- Disaster Recovery, rebuilding for Typhoon Haiyan and Hurricane Dorian survivors
- Bithlo Outreach, connecting a depressed Central Florida community to clothing and school supplies
Can I volunteer without a long-term commitment?
Yes. Hungry Saturday happens the third Saturday of every month at the Samaritan Resource Center in Orlando, and a single shift serving meals is enough to start. Other opportunities range from a single afternoon to leading an entire program.
Is iPrevail a religious organization?
iPrevail’s founders and volunteers act out of Christian conviction. One volunteer coordinator keeps Psalm 10:17 close to her work: “LORD, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them.” That conviction is why the organization exists, but it never limits who receives help. Families and individuals are never screened or filtered by religion.
Still Have a Question?
A volunteer, not a call center, will answer you personally.
