Our very own friend, partner and Co-founder Dara Urbina has been nominated for Women on the Rise Orlando as "Inspirational Deeva"!
This particular organization recognizes women who have made a significant impact in their community. Aside from iPrevail International's disaster recovery programs, Dara is also actively involved in several grassroots community groups including Foster Friends of Oviedo, Hungry Sunday, Bithlo Outreach and participates as a volunteer for UNICEF.
Asked how she feels about this tremendous honor, Dara says, "I have to give credit to everyone in our nonprofit iPrevail International Foundation, the UNICEF team, and everyone who donates their time and effort to those less fortunate. It's a team effort always. It's not about getting the recognition to help others, but I am very humbled and grateful for this."
