iPrevail Volunteers Help the Oviedo Home Foster Teens Have a Homecoming To Remember

The perfect dress, hair and make up just right, coordinating shoes,a little bling on jewels and a photo shoot perfect to remember the night are all the components every young lady deserves when preparing for their school homecoming.

The teens of the Oviedo home of Friends of Children and Families had that experience when iPrevail volunteers spent the afternoon converting the kitchen and dining room into a pre-homecoming boutique. Volunteer house mother Sharon Pomales organized the dresses, jewelery and volunteers for weeks before the special event. Preparations were worth it as volunteers came together to give the young ladies a beautful night.

A local make up artist volunteered to provide only the best products that gave the teens a beautiful glow. A volunteer hair stylist used her amazing skills to perfect each curl and place each jewel in the right spot to frame the beauty of each young lady that literally resulted into a squeel of delight when one of the girls first saw her reflection in the mirror.

Both young ladies received a photo shoot by volunteer Tonya Taylor to preserve the memories they can keep for years to come and remember their night of royalty.

Thanks to iPrevail volunteers and the donors of the dresses and accessories that made this night simply beautiful for all involved. This is one more example of how iPrevail volunteers can enrich the lives of foster teens across Central Florida.
